Title: Sausage Alfresco

Yield: 6 Servings

1pkSmoked sausage or Kielbasa
8ozFettuccine;uncooked
1/4cButter or margarine
1/4cOnion; finely chopped
1 Clove garlic; minced
1cCarrots, zucchini, red pep.
1/2cPeas; frozen
1cHeavy cream
2tbParsley; chopped
6tbGrated parmesan
  Salt and pepper

Cook fettuccine and keep warm. Saute garlic and onion in large skillet with butter until tender. Add peas and the cup of mixed vegetables that have been cut into thin strips and cook until done. (5 minutes) Set aside. Cut sausage into bite size slices. Brown sausage and drain on paper towels. Combine sausage, vegetables, and cream. Heat through, but do not boil. Stir in parsley, cheese, salt, pepper. Serve over fettuccine. Sprinkle with extra parmesan cheese, if desired.
